The main cast (or holy trinity as they would have you believe) is back for HORRIBLE BOSSES 2. That’s right, Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis either have nothing better to do or really like money (or both). Jaime Foxx is also in talks to reprise his role.
The plot is being kept under wraps, but here’s hoping it actually contains bosses that are terrible and not just a still smoking Jennifer Anniston that desperately (nay, feverishly) wants to jump your bones.
Producing will be Brett Ratner. Draw your own conclusions from that.
Day has earned a lot of brownie points from “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” and he’ll next be in “Pacific Rim” (how crazy is that). Bateman is still doing his thing of conquering the broad comedy market with his often flawless ‘straight man’ routine. He just earned a decent paycheck from “Identity Thief’ no doubt. Sudeikis, outside of SNL and some cool cameos in movies, I’m not sure what his angle is, but I wish him the best. Foxx, after just pulling off a wonderfully low-key performance in “Django Unchained” should know better.
Maybe I’m wrong. At the very least the production of a sequel will insure that people who work in production get paid.
