HBO has released the first photo from its adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s sci-fi classic FAHRENHEIT 451 starring Michael B. Jordan.
The photo features Jordan alongside co-star Michael Shannon, both in character as firemen in the dystopian drama where media is an opiate, history is outlawed and “firemen” burn books.
Jordan plays a young fireman named Montag, who forsakes his world, battles his mentor Beatty and struggles to regain his humanity.
Laura Harrier, Sophia Boutella and Lilly Singh also star.
The film is directed by Ramin Bahrani, who co-wrote the script with Amir Naderi and also serves as executive producer along with with Jordan, Sarah Green, Alan Gasmer and Peter Jaysen. David Coatsworth produces.
