Fox has given a pilot commitment to an hourlong drama titled CLASSIFIED. The drama comes from Arrow‘s Marc Guggenheim and Homeland‘s Howard Gordon. The project hails from Gordon’s Teakwood Lane and 20th Century Fox TV.
Classified is set in the cut throat world of the CIA. It is a character driven drama following the attorneys who represent the Agency. The heart of the series is based on a determined woman climbing her way to the top while dealing with professional and personal hazards.
This will serve as the second pilot commitment at Fox from Guggenheim and Gordon.
Guggenheim is also writing and producing a television adaptation of the 1994 action thriller True Lies, with James Cameron producing. Guggenheim also serves as an executive producer on the CW’s Series Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. He is represented by WME.
Gordon’s other Fox project with a pilot commitment is the cop drama Nightfall with Sheldon Turner and Jennifer Klein. Gordon is also executive producing Homeland, as it heads into its seventh season on Showtime. He is repped by WME.
