Goldie Hawn might be coming back into the spotlight as Amy Schumer‘s mother in the yet-to-be-titled comedy from 50/50 director Jonathan Levine.
The 20th Century Fox project will be produced by Bridesmaids director and females-in-comedy advocate, Paul Feig under his Feigco banner along with Chernin Entertainment. Kate Dippold, who penned the Feig-directed The Heat and the upcoming reboot of Ghostbusters, has been tapped to write the script and will also be an executive producer of the movie.
The movie follows a mother and daughter on a disastrous vacation and is inspired by Dippold’s own relationship with her mother.
Hawn’s last starring role was with Susan Sarandon in the 2002 comedy, The Banger Sisters, written and directed by Bob Dolman.
She is repped by CAA.
