We have gotten word that THE GOTHAM, a spec by David Levinson which hit the town yesterday, is going out to several territories this morning.
The story is being kept under wraps, but it is a thriller in the vein of “The Skeleton Key” and “Sinister.” The spec is being repped by Pete Letz at Cousin Pete Productions and Management and went out today to Focus, Voltage, Blumhouse, and Odd Lot Entertainment. Lucas Carter and Tariq Jalil are already attached to the project.
Levinson also has “The Shadows,” a story about a woman who is haunted by terrifying visions her entire adult life, and travels back to her childhood home in search of answers, only to discover the townspeople have been awaiting her return to fulfill a horrific prophecy, set up at EBF Productions with Darrell Wheat set to direct. As a fresh writer to Hollywood Levinson is already starting to make some waves and “The Gotham” could be his next big step forward.
