Jeremy Strong nabs his third role of the day with Scott Cooper’s BLACK MASS. The crime drama follows the FBI corruption and the savage New England mob scene involving James “Whitey” Bulger. Johnny Depp, Benedict Cumberbatch and “Parks and Rec” star Adam Scott have all signed on for the project. Strong has been cast as Josh Bond, the neighbor of Bulger and girlfriend Catherine Greig (played by Sienna Miller).
Strong is no stranger to playing characters based on actual people, having appeared in “Parkland” as Lee Harvey Oswald and John Nicolay in “Lincoln.” He also stars in TNT’s “Mob City.” Just today, Strong has also been cast in Martin Luther King Jr. biopic “Selma” and drama “Time Out of Mind” opposite Richard Gere and Jena Malone.
Strong is repped by ICM and Mosaic.
