It looks like John Krasinski is thinking about going the sci-fi route for his next film. The Office alum is in talks to star in J.J. Abrams’s upcoming sci-fi thriller GOD PARTICLE.
Abrams is set to produce the film under his Bad Robot banner while Julius Onah will direct. The story follows a team of astronauts who make a terrifying discovery that not only shifts their view of reality but has them fighting for their lives. Krasiniski would play one of the astronauts and would join David Oyelowo and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who are both attached to star.
Krasinski recently starred in Michael Bay’s action pic 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. He also directed, produced and starred in the family dramedy The Hollars which made its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
He is repped by WME.
