Korean singer/actor Lee Joon-gi will appear in the upcoming RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER. The sixth film in the franchise based on the popular video game is produced, written and directed again by Paul W.S. Anderson, who has written all six of the films and has directed all but two of them. Jeremy Bolt, Samuel Hadida and Robert Kulzer are also producing, with Victor Hadida and Martin Moszkowicz executive producing.
The news was broken on Milla Jovovich’s Instagram account on Friday when she posted a selfie (shown above) with the performer on set. The film follows Jovovich’s character, Alice, as she returns to Racoon City for a final showdown against the evil Umbrella Corporation.
Lee J00n-gi is playing an Umbrella Corporation security officer, Commander Lee. This will mark his Hollywood debut, with past roles in popular Korean films and TV series, like The King and the Clown and Scholar Who Walks the Night. He is repped by Namoo Actors.
