Logan Marshall-Green and Wyatt Russell have joined Ed Burns in TURK. The story will chronicle the fall of hockey player Derek “Turk” Sanderson and how his teammate Bobby Orr helped him get his life back together. Marshall-Green will play Derek Sanderson while Russell will play Bobby Orr.
Doug Atchison will direct after performing a rewrite of a script by Chris Pappas. Producing will be Burns, Atchison and Aaron Lubin.
Marshall-Green is known best for “Prometheus” and will next be seen in “As I Lay Dying” and (should it be picked up to series) Cinemax’s “Quarry.” Russell has appeared in movies such as “Cowboys & Aliens” and “This is 40.”
Marshall-Green and Russell are repped by CAA and UTA respectively.
