Matthew Goode is in talks to board the fast-tracked Park Chan-wook-helmed thriller STOKER for Fox Searchlight. He is being looked at for the role of Uncle Charlie. The film, originally written by actor Wentworth Miller with a polish by Erin Cressida Wilson, centers on a teenage girl, who following her father’s death must deal with a mysterious uncle who returns to spend time with the family. The project, which has turned into a revolving door of casting news, continues to press forward with only Mia Wasikowska officially attached to star. Other potentials for the film include, Colin Firth, James Franco, Nicole Kidman and Diane Lane. Scott Free Productions is producing.
