Penned by Brian Duffield, a member of the 2011 Black List and Tracking Board’s Young & Hungry List, the film follows a woman who must defend her home with an ex-lover when her badly wounded husband’s gang returns to finish the job. Natalie Portman is attached in the titular role and Fassbender is eying the the ex-lover.
Portman will produce with Terry Dougas and Chris Coen.
Fassbender has turned himself into a Hollywood A-lister with stand out performances in “X-Men: First Class”, “Shame” and “Prometheus”. Next on the horizon for the thesp is Ridley Scott’s “The Counselor” and “12 Years A Slave”, which would reunite him with his “Shame” director Steve McQueen.
