Millennium Films has acquired time-travel thriller VICTIM 321 from scribe Michael McGrale with Diego Velasco set to direct. Millennium is having a great year, they just passed the $200 million mark at the worldwide box office with London Has Fallen.
The feature tells the story of a jaded Chicago homicide detective who wakes up in the body of an ex-con three days before his murder. He has 72 hours to unravel the conspiracy behind the victim’s death, or he’ll meet his own demise.
“This is the perfect match of a compelling high-concept script with a memorable character journey and a blow-out good director in Diego Velasco,” said Millennium Films’ Mark Gill. “His movie The Zero Hour is probably the least well-known great film of the last five years.”
Velasco is best know for directing The Zero Hour and is also attached to direct the horror-thriller The Whistler. He is repped by Verve.
McGrale is repped by CAA and Chris Cook.
