Natalie Portman is in talks to join the biopic JACKIE.
Story follows Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis on the days immediately following her husband’s assassination. Portman will play the titular role if (and only if) she approves of the new director.
Producing will be Steven Spielberg.
Portman holds a special place in many fan’s heart for her childhood role in Luc Besson’s “Leon: The Professional”. She has also starred in the “Star Wars” prequels, Aronofsky’s “Black Swan”, dark comedy pic “Hesher” and Marvel’s “Thor”. She’ll be seen next in “Jane Got a Gun” and “Thor: The Dark World”.
She is repped by CAA.
