Octavia Spencer, Diane Kruger & Quvenzhane Wallis Know All About “Fathers And Daughters”

, and Quvenzhané Wallis have joined the cast of opposite Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried and Aaron Paul. The story follows a famous novelist (Crowe) raising his daughter (Seyfried) as a single father and how their dynamics and relationships change as she grows into an adult.

Kruger will play the sister-in law of Crowe’s character, who blames him for the death of her sister, Spencer will play the head of the psychiatric clinic where Seyfried’s character works and Wallis will play a patient who hasn’t spoken a word for a year since her mother was murdered.

Brad Desch wrote the that Gabriele Muccino will direct. Sheryl Clarke, Craig J. Flores and Nicolas Chartier will produce.

Spencer was last seen in “Fruitvale Station” and will next appear in “Get on Up.” Kruger last appeared in “The Host” and will soon turn up in “The Better Angels.” Wallis is best known for “Beasts of the Southern Wild” and will next appear in a remake of “Annie.”

Spencer, Kruger and Wallis are repped by , and ICM respectively.
