Spy thriller QUEEN AND COUNTRY adds a woman to the writing team. Olivia Milch has been tasked with re-writing the project that was previously penned by Ryan Condal, Greg Rucka, John Rogers, and Bill Wheeler. It’s the story of a young female British operative who gets targeted for assassination, and used as bait by the British government. Ellen Page will star as the female Jason Bourne in the film.
No stranger to strong female-driven films, Milch was set up to adapt “Little Women” for Sony last year. She also made the Blacklist in 2013 for her spec script “Dude,” a comedy following the lives of four girlfriends after high school.
Milch is repped by ICM and Mosaic.
