Writer-director Dan Fogelman has tapped Oscar Isaac to star in his upcoming film LIFE ITSELF. Isaac is set to play a key role in the multi-generational love story that weaves together a number of characters whose lives intersect over the course of decades from the streets of New York to the Spanish countryside and back.
The spec for the film was nabbed by FilmNation in a competitive situation early this year. Fogelman, who is also an executive producer and writer for the hit NBC drama This Is Us, will produce alongside Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of Temple Hill.
Isaac has a fill slate of films coming out in the upcoming year. He is set to reprise his role as Poe in Star Wars: Episode VIII. He will also star in Alex Garland’s adaptation of Annihilation and the George Clooney-directed Suburbicon. He also signed on to Steven Spielberg’s The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara.
He is repped by UTA and Inspire Entertainment.
