Kaitlyn Black, a series regular on CW’s hot new medical drama “Heart of Dixie” has also landed in the comedy pilot LIVING LODAED. Based on the Dan Dun novel, the series centers on a hard-partying blogger who is forced to change his approach to life when he gets a job as a radio host. Black will play Esther in the new series. Black, who has also been seen on “Raising Hope” is repped by David Shapira & Associates and Art/Work Entertainment.

Edi Gathegi is set to co-star opposite Kyle Bornheimer in the comedy pilot WHITE VAN MAN. The single-camera is a blue collar ensemble based on the British format and centers on Jack (Kyle Bornheimer) who is forced to put his dreams on hold in order to take over the family handyman business from his father Tony (J.K. Simmons).
Martin Landau has joined the UNTITLED ROLAND EMMERICH DRAMA PROJECT pilot. Written by Emmerich and Harold Kloser. The series the project centers on Carter (Max Thieriot), an astrophysics grad student in NYC who learns that he is the chosen one to destroy the forces of evil.
Emilie de Ravin is set to co-star in the drama pilot AMERICANA.
Matt Long, who played the lead in the short-lived legal drama “The Deep End,” is back at the network as the young male lead of period drama pilot GILDED LILYS.

David Morrissey has landed one of the most anticipated roles on THE WALKING DEAD. The British actor is set to join the mega-hit zombie drama as a new series regular in Season 3, playing The Governor, a popular character from Robert Kirkman’s graphic novel that serves as the basis for the series.

Bill Pullman will be playing a U.S. President, again, but this time on the small screen. Pullman has been tapped to play President Dale Gilchrist in the comedy pilot 1600 PENN.
