Surprise renewal BODY OF PROOF is undergoing major casting changes. Nicholas Bishop and Sonja Sohn will not be returning for the third season of the Dana Delany medical drama after rumors of major budget cuts started spreading.
Jon Wellner, who plays toxicology specialist Henry Andrews on procedural favorite CSI, has been upped to series regular for the 13th season that premieres in the fall.
TJ Miller will replace Jake Lacy on THE GOODWIN GAMES, from “How I Met Your Mother” creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas with Chris Harris. Becki Newton and Scott Foley star in the comedy about three siblings who reconnect after their father dies and leaves them his fortune, only if they agree to his terms.
DO NO HARM has upped John Carroll Lynch to series regular after appearing as a guest in the pilot. The Steven Pasquele-starring drama is a modern re-telling of the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde story. Lynch was previously starring on ABC’s “Body of Proof,” but his contract was not renewed.
Jerry O’Connell has been cast as Herman Munster in the peacock’s reboot of the classic, gothic TV series. MOCKINGBIRD LANE comes from “Pushing Daisies” creator Bryan Fuller. Munster’s wife, Lily, will be played by Mariana Klaveno, who was recently attached to ABC’s “Devious Maids” pilot that was not picked up.
“Lost” and “Alcatraz” star Jorge Garcia is heading to premium cable with a guest appearance on CALIFORNICATION. Garcia will team up with other “Lost” star Maggie Grace, who was previously announced for a recurring role in the David Duchovny laugher.
