Robin Wright is in talks to join the cast of Anton Corbijn’s A MOST WANTED MAN, an adaptation of John le Carre’s novel “Wanted”.
The pic, which is currently being written by Andrew Bovell, follows a British banker who tries to help a young Muslim immigrant targeted by the U.S., British and German secret services after he is taken in by a Turkish family in Germany. It is unclear what role Wright would take in the film.
Producing will be Malte Grunert, Stephen Cornwell, Simon Cornwell, Oliver Butcher, Gail Egan and Andrea Calderwood.
Wright, perhaps best known for playing Jenny in the Oscar-winning film “Forrest Gump”, has recently starred in “Rampart”, “Moneyball” and the remake of “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”. She is currently in production on “The Congress” and “Two Mothers”.
