Rumor has it that Jason Schwartzman has joined the cast of Colin Trevorrow’s JURASSIC WORLD. Ty Simpkins and Bryce Dallas Howard are currently the only two actors that are confirmed to be starring in the film. Josh Brolin, Nick Robinson, Idris Elba and David Oyelowo have all been rumored as being attached.
No plot details are available yet, but it is rumored that the film will revolve around a group of explorers who travel back to Isla Nublar from the first “Jurassic Park” installment. Trevorrow is helming from a script originally penned by William Monahan and Mark Protosevich. Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver are the last known writers to take a stab at the script. Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall are producing.
Schwartzman was last seen in Roman Coppola’s “A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III”, Christopher Neil’s “Goats” and Wes Anderson’s “Moonrise Kingdom.” He’ll next appear in Peter Bogdanovich’s “Squirrels to the Nuts”, Alex Ross Perry’s “Listen Up Philip” and Tim Burton’s “Big Eyes.” Schwartzman is repped by WME.
