This is the internet so ANYTHING even tangentially related to STAR WARS EPISODE VII will be treated like it’s the real deal. Why? That’s…that’s a good question. I’ll get back to you on that. (I won’t.)
Anyhow, word is that Sullivan Stapleton has gone in for a reading. Of course no one knows what role it was for, or even if it definitely happened but at least now you know about it. All I care about is you, dear reader.
This being a rumor and all, we don’t quite know if this will have the minty smell of truth, or the rotten odor of lies lies lies. It’s like Schrödinger’s cat in a way, it both is and isn’t, and we won’t really know until JJ Abrams opens up that mystery box. Don’t hold your breath though, unless you can hold your breath until opening day, in which case, congratulations, that’s a serious talent!
I’ve seen 3 of the last four movies (“Animal Kingdom”, “The Hunger” & “Gangster Squad) Stapleton has been in and I’m still don’t really know who he is. Perhaps he’ll stand out more in the upcoming “300” sequel “300: Rise of an Empire” and the Australian crime thriller “Kill Me Three Times.” He’s also starring in Cinemax’s “Strike Back.” Good for him either way. Movies and steady TV are no joke.
He is repped by WME.
