Seth Green to Make Directorial Debut with Indie Drama “Changeland”

Actor is stepping into the role of director for the new independent drama-comedy . The project marks his feature directorial debut, which he will also star in and write.

The film follows a hesitant protagonist (Green) who’s processing a personal crisis when he meets up with his far more self-assured best friend (Breckin Meyer) in Thailand. Production is set to begin this week.

“We are one of the first films to take advantage of Thailand’s new incentive measures from the Thailand Film Office and the Department of Tourism,” commented Green. “I am very excited to share this story… with an incredible crew and some of my closest friends.”

The film also stars Brenda Song, Clare Grant, Macaulay Culkin, Rose Williams, Kedar Williams-Stirling and WWE’s Randy Orton.

Corey Moosa is producing the film, while Matthew Senreich, John Harvatine, and Eric Towner of Green’s Stoopid Buddy Stoodios are executive producing. Chris Lowenstein and Oliver Ackermann of Living Films and Jimmy Matthews and John Lee of Karivara Films will also co-exec produce.

Green is best known for his acting roles in Austin Powers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Italian Job, and much more. He is also the co-creator, executive producer, and lends his voice to Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken. He’s repped by and .
