Sansa Stark is making her way from Westeros to a sleepy town in Florida. Game of Thrones actress is set to star in the Eric England-directed indie HUNSTVILLE opposite Dylan McDermott.

Screenwriter Anthony Ragnone, who made the Young & Hungry List in 2015, penned the script which landed on the 2014 Hit List and Black List.

Turner set to star as Josie, a high school student who develops an eyebrow-raising relationship with Hank, a solitary and dull man played by McDermott. Witch star Anya Taylor-Joy and Boardwalk Empire actor Shea Whigham were originally attached to the roles, but fell out after things didn’t pan out. Luisa Iskin and Kim Leadford of StarStream Media are producing alongside Ash Sarohia and John Wunder.

In addition to her wildly popular role as Sansa Stark on HBO’s Game of Thrones, Turner recently starred as mutant telepath Jean Grey in Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse. She is set to appear in the upcoming drama Alone with Ray Liotta.

She is repped by and Independent Talent Group.
