Justin Kirk is now set to star opposite Jennifer Garner in the indie coming-of-age drama, taking over the role initially set for Moyer, who exited the pic earlier this month due to scheduling issues. Clueless star Alicia Silverstone has also joined the cast.

The coming-of-age drama, based on Joy Nicholson’s debut YA novel, has tapped True Blood alum Stephen Moyer to star opposite Jennifer Garner. Emmett Malloy and Brendan Malloy are directing from Karen Croner’s script.
Logline: A big-wave surfer, after being sidelined for years following a traumatic wipeout, decides to surf again in order to raise money to save a convalescent home for old surfers.
