Opening on Nov. 3 and 10 respectively, the two new holiday-related comedy sequels are going to be vying for the comedy market when they open although the Bad Moms sequel is going all-out with a VERY raunchy R-rated trailer.
In pitch-perfect casting, Mel Gibson arrives on the scene as Dusty’s father, Mr. Mayburn, and John Lithgow quickly follows as Brad’s father, Mr. Whitaker in the official trailer for Daddy’s Home 2.
Hot off an Oscar nomination for directing Hacksaw Ridge, Mel Gibson is being courted by Warner Bros. to direct Suicide Squad 2, though three more male filmmakers remain in the mix.
Sequel to the hit comedy starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.
