In 1942, Homer Macauley is a boy determined to be the best and fastest bicycle telegraph messenger of his city. His older brother, Marcus, along with most of the young boys of the city, has gone to war, leaving the families worried. Homer becomes the only telegraph messenger of the city, delivering the letters that bring messages of love, wishes, pain and death, hoping that one of them announces the return of his brother.

Logline: Story revolves around Homer Macauley, a 14-year-old telegraph bike messenger. His older brother has gone to fight in World War II, leaving him to care for his widowed mother, his older sister and his four-year-old brother, Ulysses.

Logline: In 1859, a group of elite cavalrymen are sent to New Mexico to kill the chief of the Navajo in response to a brutal mass slaughter of 30 white men, women and children.
