paramount-excerptThe rights to Ted Bell’s action espionage series of books based on British MI6 agent Sir Alexander Hawke have landed at Paramount Pictures and the studio is wasting no time in getting it to the big screen. Salt screenwriter Kurt Wimmer has been tapped to adapt the yet-to-be-titled-film while Lorenzo di Bonaventura will produce.

Logline: After an experiment in 1943 goes awry and opens a dimensional rift between worlds, an alternate “shadow world” faces an unfortunate future brought on by murders committed by agents from our world. To save their world, a resistance rises up to enter our world and abduct the only woman who can save their home world.

Logline: In the future, a man set to go on a virtual vacation, instead experiences a memory transplant and is hunted by killers who think he is a spy with the secrets to free Mars and its citizens.
