Rather than the typical tale of terror in Texas, the film follows a deranged lawman on the trail of four psychopaths who have escaped from a mental hospital, one of whom turns out to become the iconic slasher known as Leatherface.

The film takes place in the 70’s with Leatherface as a teenager, and stars Stephen Dorff as Hal Hartman, an officer that takes on the investigation to track down the title character.
She is set to play a young nurse named Lizzy that kidnapped by a group of mental patients and taken on a terrifying road trip. Grasse received the role after a tense auditioning process of ninety actresses.
She is set to play an escaped mental patient in the film that follows the origins of the deranged serial killer from his time as a patient, to the events of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
The “World Trade Center” and “Somewhere” star joins “Leatherface” in the lead role.
