The Peabody Awards’ Board of Jurors have announced the 60 finalists for 2015 and of these finalists 30 will be honored at the 75th anniversary Peabody ceremony hosted by Keegan-Michael Key on May 21 in New York.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences on Tuesday revealed the 15 documentary features that will be considered for an Oscar nomination–a list whittled down from 124 films that were originally in contention.
The 2015 Gotham Awards, celebrating the year’s best in independent film, were held in New York on Monday. Tom McCarthy’s Spotlight was the night’s big winner, receiving Best Feature, Best Screenplay and a special jury award for Ensemble Cast Performance. See the full list of winners and nominees here.
