Finn Jones, who is best known for his role as Ser Loras Tyrell in HBO’s hit drama Game of Thrones, is set to play titular role in Marvel’s Iron Fist series for Netflix, Marvel officially confirmed Thursday.

The film takes place in the 70’s with Leatherface as a teenager, and stars Stephen Dorff as Hal Hartman, an officer that takes on the investigation to track down the title character.
The show is based on the cult classic comic book series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. The story follows Jesse Custer, a reverend in a small Texas town, who becomes merged with a supernatural entity that escaped from Heaven, birthed from both an angel and a demon.
He will star alongside of Tika Sumpter, who will be playing Michelle Obama. Taking place before his terms as president, the film follows the true story of the first date between Barack and Michelle in 1989.
