David S. Goyer has just picked up buzzy scribe Max Landis’ latest script, the psychological drama Deeper. Goyer will produce under his Phantom Four banner, along with Addictive Pictures. Sources report that Phantom and Addictive beat out others clamoring for the project, as Landis has quickly established himself as a hot, up-and-coming talent.

Centers on a young, aimless computer programmer who finds himself one of the most wanted targets in the world after he joins a team of daredevil hackers who get their thrills on entering encrypted databases and exposing government secrets.

Warner Bros. is remaking the hacker thriller Who Am I: No System Is Safe, with David Goyer and Kevin Turen leading the charge, producing under their Phantom Four banner. Goyer is also in talks to helm the pic, which follows a dangerous group of hackers.
