“Thinking Out Loud” crooner Ed Sheeran has joined the cast of Kurt Sutter’s new FX series The Bastard Executioner. The singer-songwriter will play Sir Cormac, the ambitious right-hand man to a high-ranking church elder in the medieval drama about a warrior whose life is changed when he receives a message from heaven ordering him to become a traveling executioner.
