Pitch Perfect scribe Kay Cannon is getting to make her feature directorial debut with The Pact and has tapped John Cena, Leslie Mann, and Ike Barinholtz to star. The project hails from Seth Rogen’s Point Grey and DMG Entertainment.
THE PACT
Kay Cannon, perhaps best known for scripting Universal’s hit Pitch Perfect series, is gearing up to make her directorial debut on the Seth Rogen-produced comedy The Pact. The pic follows three parents who set out to prevent their daughters from losing their virginities after they discover their daughters made a pact to lose their V-cards on prom night.
Logline: The story follows the later years of Danish author Karen Blixen.
