THE PRIORITY LIST
The “Hope Springs” director is helming the adaptation of David Menasche’s uplifting memoir.
Logline: After being diagnosed with brain cancer and being told he only had a few months to live, Menasche, a Miami high school teacher managed to extend his life via several surgeries and years of chemo. Then in 2012 decided to embark on a cross-country journey to reconnect with former students from his 15-year teaching career, come to terms with his illness and learn to live fully in the present. (He is still alive.)
