Bell will play Edgerton’s son, who is following in his father’s footsteps and harbors a deep hatred for David Kingston, the Ranger who will be played by Hoult.
Todd Lieberman, Sergei Bodrov, Sergei Gordeev and David Hoberman will produce.
Hoult most recently starred in Jonathan Levine’s horror-comedy “Warm Bodies” and Warner Bros. box office disaster “Jack the Giant Slayer”. He will next be reprising his role as Beast in “X-Men: Days of Future Past”.
Edgerton played Navy SEAL squad leader Patrick in Kathryn Bigelow’s Oscar-nominated “Zero Dark Thirty” before offering an impressive performance in “The Great Gatsby”. He recently wrapped on the Brian Duffield-scripted “Jane Got a Gun”.
Bell has the Sci-Fi-action pic “Snowpiercer” coming up as well as Lars von Trier’s much-talked about erotic drama “Nymphomaniac” and crime pic “Filth”.
