Colton Dunn, Dan Bakkedahl, Flula Borg, Jim Jefferies, Jon Lovitz, and Rhys Darby have all added their names to the cast of Darren Grant’s UNTITLED CELEBRITY DEATH POOL PROJECT. Written by relative newcomer Peter Hoare for WWE Studios, the comedy follows a struggling nightclub owner who resorts to extremely desperate measures in order to pay off a loan shark – he hires a hit man to kill David Hasselhoff to win a celebrity “death pool.” Hasselhoff is producing with Michele Berk, Patrick Hughes, and Warren Zide.
Dunn is currently a writer and co-producer on the Comedy Central sketch show “Key and Peele” and he will next be seen in the rom-con “The Dramatics” with Sean Astin. Bakkedahl stars in the FXX comedy series “Legit” with Jefferies and Mindy Sterling. He will soon be found on the big screen in “Get Hard,” the comedy from Jay Martel and Ian Roberts that stars Will Ferrell as a millionaire who ends up in jail for fraud.
Best known as a YouTube star and musician, Borg is currently filming a role for “Pitch Perfect 2” with Anna Kendrick and Elizabeth Banks. Jefferies is the creator of “Legit” and he was recently featured in the Australian comedy-horror “Me and My Mates vs. The Zombie Apocalypse.”
Lovitz as well got his start in comedy. He was a cast member on the long-running “Saturday Night Live” from 1985-1990. Lovitz also guest-starred on TV series included “Friends” and “Seinfeld.” He is rumored to appear in the comedy-horror flick “Neutron Zombies.” Darby is another cast member of “Legit.” He also starred in 2008’s “Yes Man” opposite Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel. He is attached to Marion Pilowsky’s upcoming comedy “The Wedding Job.”
Dunn is repped by Paradigm and Principato-Young Entertainment. Bakkedahl is repped by UTA and Authentic Talent and Literary Management. Borg is repped by Brillstein Entertainment.
