Lena Hall Cast in “Snowpiercer” Remake for TNT

The Drama series is based on Joon-ho Bong’s futuristic thriller of the same title starring Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton released in 2013. Years after a climate change experiments kill most of the population a few survivors boarded the Snowpiercer, a train where a strict class system emerges. The film embodies social injustice and the politics of survival.

Hall plays Sayori, the train’s archivist who is responsible for maintaining the trains continuity, by keeping meticulous written records and ensuring key roles for survival are filled. She serves as a crucial member of the train’s upper management. This will serve as Hall’s first TV role. She was most recently seen in the indie feature, Becks. She is repped by and .

Joining her is cast members Jennifer Connelly, Mickey Summer, Allison Wright, Roberto Urbina, Katie McGuinness, Benjamin Haigh, Annalise Basso, Sasha Frolova, and Susan Park.

Doctor Strange‘s Scott Derrickson will direct the pilot and exec produce. Bong Joon-ho along with Park Chan-wook, Lee Tae-hun, Dooho Choi and CJ Entertainment will also exec produce. Josh Friedman is penning the pilot and will serve as showrunner.
