Chris Columbus, Michael Barnathan Team to Launch Animation Studio

Haim Saban, Chris Columbus, Michael Barnathan, and Jeremy Zag have all partnered to launch ZAG Animation Studios. The new company will specialize in developing, producing and distributing feature film family entertainment franchises, specifically producing one 3D animated film and one CGI/live action film per year, beginning in 2017. Saban is the chairman and CEO of Saban Capital Group and the founder Saban Brands, while Columbus is the Oscar nominated director known for helming the first two Harry Potter films, which Barnathan also worked on as executive producer. Zag is the founder of ZAG Entertainment.
