Jack Huston has signed on to star in THE CROW as the coveted lead role of Eric Dravens, AKA The Crow.
Directed by Corin Hardy, the film is a remake of the 1994 Alex Proyas-directed adaptation of the graphic novel from James O’Barr.
The story follows a rock musician who, a year after being murdered while attempting to rescue his fiancee from thugs, comes back from the grave to get revenge. The late Brandon Lee starred in the original film version.
Jessica Brown Findlay is set to play the role of Eric’s fiancee.
Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and Stephen Norrington were previously attached to direct, and Bradley Cooper, Mark Wahlberg, Luke Evans and Norman Reedus have all been considered for the role of Eric.
Huston has been in talks for the last month, until officially signing on this morning.
Known for his role in American Hustle, Huston is set to star in the upcoming adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
