Mira Sorvino has signed on to STALKER in a recurring role. The drama centers on stalking cases investigated by LAPD’s Threat Assessment Unit. Sorvino will play Vicki Gregg, a well-respected FBI agent who began her career at TAU and once ran the division. She is repped by ICM and Management 360.

Billie Lourd will make her TV debut on SCREAM QUEENS. From 20th TV and Ryan Murphy Television, headed by Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan (Glee), the horror anthology will center on a college campus is rocked by a series of murders. Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Joe Manganiello, and Abigail Breslin also star. Lourd is repped by CAA.
Jenna Elfman will lead the UNTITLED DANA KLEIN COMEDY pilot. The series, written by Klein, follows a working mom (Elfman) who is in constant competition with her perfect, stay-at-home sister-in-law. Pam Fryman is directing and Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment is exec producing. Elfman is repped by WME and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
HBO
Augustus Prew will star in the HBO pilot MAMMA DALLAS. Written, directed, and EP’d by Mike White, the half-hour series follows a conservative family in Texas who unwittingly hire a hard-living drag queen, Liberty (Prew), as their live-in nanny. Dede Gardner is also onboard as executive produer. Prew is repped by ICM, Schachter/Brown, and Curtis Brown Group.
Paul Fitzgerald, Mary Catherine Garrison, and Nico Tortorella have also been cast in MAMMA DALLAS. Garrison and Fitzgerald will play Carrie and Hugh Cox, the couple who hire Liberty (Augustus Prew) as their live-in nanny, only to discover he is a drag queen. Garrison is repped by Innovative Artists. Fitzgerald is repped by SMS Talent and Leading Artists. Tortorella is repped by Gersh and LINK Entertainment.
Hulu
Michaela Watkins has been cast as female lead in Hulu’s single-camera comedy CASUAL. The series centers on a dysfunctional family with a bachelor brother, Alex Cole, and his newly divorced sister, Valerie Cole (Watkins). Zander Lehmann is writing and Liz Tigelaar is executive producing. Watkins is repped by CAA and Haven Entertainment.
Tara Lynne Barr has also been cast in CASUAL. She is repped by APA.
Netflix
Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) has joined AKA JESSICA JONES. The 13-episode series from Marvel and Netflix centers on Jessica Jones, a superhero suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, which leads to her hanging up her costume and opening her own detective agency, where she ends up helping people and assisting other superheroes. Moss will play a no-nonsense woman who may prove to be an ally to Jones. She is repped by WME and Elizabeth Hodgson Management Group.

Meryl Hathaway and Miles Fisher have joined SHAQ INC in leading roles. The workplace comedy pilot is loosely based on the business empire of Shaquille O’Neal. Hathaway is repped by Coast to Coast and Authentic Talent and Literary Management. Fisher is repped by Paradigm and Underground. Matty Cardarople and Carl Anthony Payne have also joined the series.
