Cameron Cuffe has been cast as the male lead in the Syfy Superman prequel series Krypton. Cuffe will play Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El, in the series based on the DC Comics characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

Emilia Clarke and Jack Huston have been tapped to star in the adaptation of Joe Sharkey’s book Above Suspicion. The Giver director Phillip Noyce is set to direct the script by Chris Gerolmo.
Kurt Russell and Kate Hudson will star in the series, which will be directed and co-written by Mel Gibson. Kevin Bacon, meanwhile, joins Jill Soloway’s new series, while Walter Goggins replaces Joe Manganiello over at History.
