MGM have bought the remake rights for the 2007 Finnish thriller Black Ice with Dylan Sellers and his Rivers Edge Films set to produce. The film is a complex thriller that explores a love triangle between a woman, her husband and the husband’s mistress. The original production won six Jussi Awards, the Finnish equivalent of an Oscar.

Logline: A Belgian Shepard Malinois military dog returns from active service in Afghanistan traumatized by his handler’s death. Erratic and dangerous, Max is adopted by the bereaved family and bonds with the marine’s troubled 14-year old brother. Together they unravel the secret behind his brother’s death and pull the family together again.

Logline: Sci-fi/action about a dystopian future in which a man is willing to brave the perils of a robotic warzone in an attempt to save the android he loves.

Logline: An uptight and by-the-book cop tries to protect the sexy and outgoing widow of a drug boss as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen.

Logline: Waldo, the janitor/inventor who wears a distinctive red-and-white shirt with glasses, a stocking cap, and a walking stick, embarks on adventures, traveling through space and time, often appearing in colorful, crowded scenes from the past, the present – even the future.

Logline: Story follows the adventures of Lara Croft, a British archaeologist who ventures into ancient, hazardous tombs and ruins around the world in search of rare artifacts.

Logline: A good boy named Milton Fauster dies with his shoplifting sister in a freak accident and ends up in Heck, an unearthly reform school. Milton meets Virgil, a boy who has a map of the Nine Circles of Heck, and the two plot to escape the netherworld and its leader, the principal of darkness Bea “Elsa” Bubb.

Logline: Spoiled, filthy rich Joanna Slayton falls overboard from her yacht, and is taken to a local hospital by Dean Profitt, a small town carpenter with loose morals. However, when she wakes up with amnesia, Profitt takes Joanna home, convincing her that she is his wife and the mother of his four young boys.

Logline: A woman has flashbacks about three different men while walking down the aisle at her wedding, making us wonder which one will be waiting for her at the altar.
