critics-choice-excerptThe nominees for the 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards were announced today, and with no surprise, HBO took the top spot raking in 22 nominations while ABC and Netflix tied for second with 14 nods. With critically acclaimed shows like The Americans, the new Donald Glover comedy Atlanta, and the uber-successful The People Vs. OJ Simpson FX ranked fourth.

Logline: With a bag full of stolen money, and Mexican gangsters after him, a man must stay alive while finding his way back onto American soil.

Logline: Story follows a woman recounting her sexual exploits over the past fifty years of her life to a sexually addicted man who took her in.

Logline: A group of bounty hunters track down and grab a mysterious Chinese woman, only to discover that she may be more then she lets on, when they find themselves surrounded in a deadly standoff in a deserted motel.

Logline: Story centers on an anthropology bookworm who laments his place in a society that lacks a ceremony to mark his transition into manhood and leads his hard-partying, stressed-out classmates to his family’s abandoned ranch — where his brother lives in a psychotic world of drugs, guilt and Chumash Indian rituals.
