It seems that actress Ashley Bell is having a good week. First, she stars in the thriller, Carnage Park, which premieres this week at the Sundance Film Festival. In addition, she just signed on to star alongside Melissa Leo in the coming-of-age nun drama, Novitiate, the directorial debut of Maggie Betts.
Coming-of-age feature, Novitiate, has filled out its female-driven cast with an additional trio of actresses. Melissa Leo, Dianna Agron, and Margaret Qualley are set to star in the film from writer-director Margaret Betts.
Set in the early 1960s, tells the story of a young woman, Sister Cathleen, who starts to question her Catholic faith as she trains to become a nun.
