Aunt May serves as both a moral compass and parent to Peter Parker, stepping in to raise him after his parent’s death. Aside from just being his guardian, the influential May serves as reliant supporter to Peter in his darkest hours.
The wait is finally over. After months of speculation, rumors, and false leads, Marvel has finally announced who will play the new Spider-Man and who will helm the wall-crawler’s return.
St Vincent director Ted Melfi and Warm Bodies’ helmer Jonathan Levine are the favorites, but Vacation directors John Francis Daley & Jonathan M. Goldstein and indie director Jon Watts are also contenders to direct.
Butterfield will first appear as the character in the film “Captain America: Civil War”, before getting a solo film in 2018. The film is currently being dubbed “Spider-Man: The New Avenger”.
