An adaptation of Maria Semple’s New York Times Bestseller novel Today Will Be Different has landed at HBO with Julia Roberts attached to star and produce. The project is in development at Annapurna Television.

Academy Award-winning actor Julia Roberts has been tapped to star in the upcoming TV adaptation of the book Today Will Be Different by Maria Semple, which was published at the end of September. This will mark Roberts’ return to TV since she starred in Ryan Murphy’s adaptation of the stage play The Normal Heart on HBO.
