Maya Rudolph has been cast in the indie drama THE GREENS ARE GONE. The Peer Pederson project centers on a matriarch who is pushed to her tipping point over the disappearance of her son. Rudolph joins Cary Elwes, Catherine Keener, and Anton Yelchin for the project.
The comedienne is most well known for her comedic roles in “Bridesmaids,” “SNL,” and “Grown Ups,” but is no stranger to dramatic roles. Rudolph has starred in indie dramas “Away We Go” and “The Way, Way Back.” She was recently cast in the Tina Fey/Amy Poehler comedy “The Nest” and will also appear in the upcoming drama “Inherent Vice” opposite Joaquin Phoenix and Benicio Del Toro.
