Common has joined the cast of David Ayer’s SUICIDE SQUAD in an un-specified role. He joins a top notch cast of stars including Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jared Leto and Cara Delevigne. The film takes place in the DC Comics cinematic universe that kicked off with the 2013 Superman film Man of Steel. Warner has been rounding out the cast of the anti-hero film featuring the rogue characters of the DC Comics universe.
Known as a musical artist and for his roles in Smokin’ Aces and Wanted, Common has recently won an Oscar for his original song Glory for film Selma. He was recently cast in Rob Reiner’s upcoming drama Being Charlie.
