Patton Oswalt has signed on to star alongside Charlize Theron and Josh Brolin in YOUNG ADULT. Written by Diablo Cody, the story follows a thirtysomething, divorced, young-adult fiction writer in Minneapolis who returns to her hometown to chase the ex-boyfriend, who’s now married with a kid, that got away.
Patrick Wilson is in talks to join the cast.
Logline: Pitched as “Twilight” meets “Ghost,” the story centers on a 20-year old small town fry-cook with a love of writing, and the unfortunate ability to see ghosts and spirits before they pass over… the latter of which he uses to help the local police chief solves violent cases.
