Strouse has been tapped to add some magic into Disney’s forthcoming father-son comedy Overnight. The Finding Dory writer was brought on shortly after the project was selected to receive $9.5 million in tax incentives from the California Film Commission in 2015.

Vacation Friends has tapped Ice Cube to lead the feature comedy from 20th Century Fox. Chris Pratt and Anna Farris were previously set to star. Ice Cube is taking over Pratt’s role with no word on the new female lead.
